Before Solara, we spent years working in documentary — sitting with people long enough that they forgot the camera was there. Weddings were a no go.

Most of what we'd seen felt built for the highlight reel. The vows staged twice for the right angle, the toast trimmed to the ten seconds that cut well to music. It looked considered. It rarely felt true.

What we noticed, sitting inside actual weddings, was different. The version people will actually want in twenty years isn't the polished thirty seconds. It's the whole shape of the day: the nerves before, the exhale after, the people who showed up for them long before the wedding and will still be there long after.

So that's what we build. Not a highlight. A record — patient enough to catch what's real, considered enough that it still holds meaning when the couple is fifty and showing it to their kids.

We take on ten films a year. Each one gets the time it actually needs.
